A new organisation celebrating the richness and variety of the contemporary Brussels art scene. From 12 to 15 September 2024, Rendez-Vous kicks off the artistic year with a weekend of openings, performances, and spontaneous get-togethers throughout the city’s many contemporary art galleries, downtown, midtown and uptown. ​ ​Following the end of the Brussels Gallery Weekend (the organisation recently announced the cancellation of the Brussels Gallery Weekend after 16 years), Laure Decock and Evelyn Simons who both have been operating in the Brussels’ art field and beyond for the past 10 years, are now starting a new organisation with the support of over 45 contemporary art galleries. Their aim is to put Brussels on the international art agenda by celebrating the richness and variety of the city’s artistic fabric, through various events, a discursive programme and an editorial framework.
